The Bad Kitty Boost is transparent clean boosting pre-amp. It cleanly increases your volume, providing up to 20dB of clean boost! At max setting, it provides a gritty boost with light breakup. If you've never used a quality boost pedal, you don't know what you're missing. This pedal is tone in a box, and you'll never want to go back to your unboosted clean tone again. Even at low volume it thickens your clean tone, and when used with a gain channel it can push your amp into a roaring overdrive.
You don't have to be a sound engineer to get the best out of this pedal. There's just one knob making it super easy to dial in the level you want. The Bad Kitty Boost also stacks well with fuzz pedals, distortions, overdrive, and everything in between. It's hard to go back to an unboosted drive once you've heard the Bad Kitty roar!
This boost is powerful! Always start at minimum boost (knob turned all the way down counter-clockwise) and work your way up to the desired volume.
This pedal is true bypass and the analog circuit board. Some of best available electrical components were used to outfit the circuit.
The kitty artwork is by Lois Wain who was strangely obsessed with drawing anthropomorphized cats. This drawing in particular is said to illustrate the artist's advancing mental illness. His later cat drawings are nothing more than psychedelic geometric shapes, and it's speculated he suffered from schizophrenia.
